Part-Time Resident Manager

Torrey Pines Property Management is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Resident Manager for a 22-unit studio apartment community located at 2051, 2055, and 2059 Bacon Street in Ocean Beach, San Diego.


This position includes occupancy of an on-site studio apartment (Unit 10; no parking included) and offers compensation of $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience. The role includes 5 guaranteed hours per week, Monday through Friday (approximately one hour per day), with additional hours available as needed, up to approximately 11 hours per week total. Additional duties may include conducting open houses, responding to emergency maintenance requests, supporting residents, and assisting with general property oversight.

 

The selected candidate may move into the apartment as early as June 16, 2026, with training beginning upon move-in. The official start date for the position is July 1, 2026. The apartment's fair market rental value is $1,745 per month. The Resident Manager License Fee for occupancy of the unit is $1,163 per month.


Previous property management, customer service, leasing, or maintenance experience is preferred. Prefer knowledge of basic computer skills and High School education. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, professional, and committed to providing excellent service to residents while helping maintain a well-managed community.
